SAFE, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION PLATFORM

In recent months electronic communication between schools and parental homes has become inevitable. Cellphone groups and online classes are the order of the day. Because each Montie’s safety is important to us, thorough research has been done to explore various communication platforms that will facilitate interaction between the school and the learner and parents, yet be safe and user-friendly. Hoërskool Montana will in future use Microsoft Teams – one platform for everything the learner needs to know: assignments, links, letters, etc.

• It can be used on any computer, tablet or mobile phone
• Every Montie receives a free, unique Hoërskool Montana email address with 1TB onedrive space
• Office 365 package is built into the package for free and teachers can send out assignments, it can be completed by the learner and sent back, even on a cellphone.
• Everything has already been uploaded by the Montie staff and is ready for use – the learners and parents can just sign up.

Each learner will receive a letter during the week that explains everything. Everyone’s personal @hsmontana email address and temporary password also appear on it.
We hope you are excited to join us in using this platform that will make everything so much easier.

  • Die afgelope paar maande het elektroniese kommunikasie tussen skole en ouerhuise onafwendbaar geword. Selfoongroepe en aanlynklasse is aan die orde van die dag. Omdat elke Montie se veiligheid vir ons belangrik is, is deeglike navorsing gedoen om verskeie kommunikasieplatforms te ondersoek wat wisselwerking tussen die skool en die leerder en ouers sal vergemaklik, dog veilig en gebruikersvriendelik sal wees. Hoërskool Montana gaan voortaan van Microsoft Teams gebruik maak – een platform vir alles wat die leerder moet weet: opdragte, skakels, skrywes, ens.

  • • Dit kan op enige rekenaar, tablet of selfoon gebruik word
  • • Elke Montie ontvang ‘n gratis, unieke Hoërskool Montana epos-adres met 1TB onedrive-spasie
  • • Office 365-pakket is gratis ingebou in die pakket en onderwysers kan opdragte uitstuur, dit kan deur die leerder voltooi word en weer teruggestuur word, selfs met hul selfone.
  • • Alles is reeds deur die Montie-personeel opgelaai en is gereed vir gebruik – die leerders en ouers kan net inteken.

  • Elke leerder sal in die week ‘n brief ontvang wat alles mooi verduidelik. Elkeen se persoonlike @hsmontana epos-adres en tydelike wagwoord verskyn ook daarop.
  • Ons hoop julle is saam met ons opgewonde om hierdie platform te gebruik wat alles net soveel gaan vergemaklik.

  • Baie dankie aan mnr. Leon Taute wat die inisiatief geneem het en baie ure se navorsing gedoen het om die regte oplossing te vind. Dankie ook aan die personeel wat hard gewerk het om elke leerder se profile gereed te kry vir gebruik.
